Inspiration

Studying for long periods of time leads to burn out very quick, so using a timer that tells you when to work and when to rest is helpful to keeping refreshed

What it does

Timer that informs user when to work and when to take a break, plays a sound when timer reaches 0 seconds

I worked on the timer, as well as the audio being played when the timer runs out, in JavaScript. I knew nothing about JavaScript, Python, Flask or UI Kit coming in, so it was a daunting task at the beginning.

Gary Lai
I had some background experience in JavaScript, but this was my first project. I helped set up the transitions between the regular, short break, and long break timers, and fixed some bugs.

I worked on the front end and back end. It was my first time using Flask, heroku and html so there was a learning curve for me.
