We were inspired by our relatively boring studying techniques used for previous exams.
The Pomodoro Penguin is a 30-minute study timer to boost focus and productivity! There is a 25-minute study interval followed by a 5-minute break.
We built this using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Each teammate branched out and tackled a specific language seeing as no one in our team is familiar with coding. We had one teammate on HTML, two on CSS, and one on JavaScript
We ran into the challenge of compiling all of our codes together into a working web application.
We are proud of actually finishing and having a functional product! We all come from non-coding backgrounds (Media, Engineering, Business majors) and we were able to learn and apply our learning to something that is useful.
We learned that coding isn't easy, but with teamwork, we were able to go from quite literally no coding knowledge into a working website.
We plan on using the Pomodoro Penguin to study for our upcoming midterms and finals this semster! We also plan on adding a task-list in future editions!
