Inspiration
POMODORO studying technique learnt in school which enforces a balance between studying and break time to maximize productivity.
What it does
The device locks the phone in and has a timer built on a local machine which counts down 25 minutes. After 25 minutes are over, the device will start moving and run around the desk of the user, distracting them and making them take a break and move around if they want to use their phone. The moving device that the project is built on using echo motion detecting system in order to avoid collisions with objects in front.
How we built it
Built using Arduino language and website built using javascript.
Challenges we ran into
Many hardware headaches and errors that were hard to understand. Implementation and integration was challenging due to hardware issues.
