Inspiration

We have a lot of trouble not procrastinating on our assignments. We get distracted easily, so we wanted to create a structured but customizable system to not feel unproductive at the end of the day.

Challenges we ran into

Lots of issues with TypeScript, creating a global list that would be manipulated between multiple components.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Participating in our first 12 hour hackathon! Additionally we picked up some useful skills like working with APIs, component libraries, and using React in general.

What we learned

How to use React, creating interfaces, and working with APIs, specifically the YouTube Data API.

What's next for Pomodora the Explora

We'd like to implement an AI algorithm to select videos based on the user's interests.
