Inspiration

I wanted to make a safe platform for kids to use AI and interact with them, and even bring their own toys to life. ( mostly plushies)

What it does

Pommai helps you create your own AI toy through an long onboarding and has multiple features like Guardian Mode

How we built it

I built it using Nextjs, OpenAI Oss model, Whisper and Elevenlabs TTS. For FastRTC gateway, I used to Fly,io and for Raspberry Pi, I used Pi OS Lite (64 bit) with PI Zero 2W with 32GB SSD

First time using Pi, Docker locally

Happy to make it this far and have a working concept.

What we learned

I learnt to take time, plan and vibe code well using Kiro and Warp

What's next for Pommai

I want to make it a full production site
