Inspiration

As students, we also struggle to maintain focus and study, so we feel a study tool would be useful for learning.

What it does

It times your study sessions, and gives you short breaks where you can destress.

How we built it

We built it purely out of HTML5 canvas using JavaScript too. We also built a backend with PHP and a database.

Challenges we ran into

We ran out of time due to having restarted halfway through the event and working through the night when we were tired.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We persevered, so despite having to restart entirely after 12 hours, we didn't give up on making something cool like other groups. We got more done than what we initially thought.

What we learned

We learned how to use canvas and the importance of doing research while generating ideas.

What's next for Pomadoro

Nothing. Goodbye Pomadoro. Though if we had more time we would finish implementing user accounts and make use of the database.
