Inspiration

I was inspired by the myriad of sponsors who believed in the agentic future. I believe we will still need humans in the loop who deeply understand how these agents work.

What it does

It is a framework for interactive lessons in machine learning algorithms. A live agentic demo is used to demonstrate the learning in real time, and an llm assists the CS student as a tutor.

Challenges we ran into

General

Sometimes the AI wildly misinterprets prompts or forgets project structure, which made the outcomes of a lot of prompts useless.

Technical

A transpiler is hard to build even for an AI. The functionality to convert C++, Python, and Java into Javascript is very half baked.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The entire thing is 100% vibe coded.

What we learned

Vibe coding can be a powerful tool to get demos off the ground quickly.

What's next for PolyPath

Extending into more lessons, integrating user accounts and persistent sessions.
