Language isolation is a significant barrier to women trying to establish a new life away from abuse. By leveraging language skills in the community in an easy, convenient way, women can utilize community resources and take care of business. Polyglot allows an organization to organize volunteers according to language skills. Clients of the organization can get language support on demand by texting a Twilio number. Polyglot will then blast the request to all volunteers with the needed language skills. The first volunteer to respond will receive the clients phone number so that they can talk directly.
