Inspiration

Currently, there is a disconnect between new technology and designers. 3d scanning is now possible on most smartphones, yet its use remains a novelty.

What it does

Polygather allows designers to scan 3d objects and view them together in a virtual space as a way to inspire your next great project.

How we built it

We spent our time considering the user and their workflows rather than prototyping the tool.

We were able to create a concise video that shares our approach to the project.

What we learned

Telling a compelling story is hard. Especially in 24 hours.

What's next for polygather:

With additional time, we'd like to refine the UI and talk with users about how they might use a tool like this in their design workflow.
