When we were brainstorming ideas for our project, it felt like a carnival of possibilities, with each idea vying for attention. To narrow down our choices, we decided to seek input from our friends. The solution? A poll, naturally!

Excitedly, we dove into the app marketplace, expecting to find the perfect polling tool. To our surprise, Canva didn’t offer a poll feature! 😲 That’s when inspiration struck us like a lightning bolt. We realized that our mission was clear: to bring polls to Canva!

Our inspiration? Canva itself! We couldn’t believe this amazing tool didn’t have polls, and we knew we had to be the ones to fix that. And thus, the quest to build the ultimate Canva poll app began. Epic, right? 🚀

How We Built It

Here’s an overview of our development process. 🛠️ We meticulously crafted a robust backend using Node.js and Express to handle server-side operations efficiently. On the frontend, we employed React and Recharts to create an intuitive and visually appealing user interface. The integration of Canva’s tools enabled us to incorporate QR codes and images seamlessly, adding a professional touch to the design. We also utilized environment variables for secure and flexible configuration, and deployed our application on Heroku to ensure reliable performance and scalability. Each component was thoughtfully developed and integrated to deliver a polished final product. 🌟
