Political Faceoff

Inspiration

My friend Mike Fellner and I though of this idea at our first Hackathon. However, because of the location where he lives, he is unable to attend hackathons with me. I continue the legacy we started we first started in hacking.

What it does

Political Faceoff is a website in which an individual debates their political ideology with other individuals that feel opposite what they do. This encourages people to create their own thoughts on topics around the world

How I built it

We used HTML, CSS, JS, and Firebase

Challenges I ran into

The chat system was the hardest aspect of this website

Completing the chat system in a matter of hours

What's next for Political Faceoff

We are going to continue to work on Political Faceoff after Unhackathon. In future, I plan to turn Political Faceoff into an Android/IOS app.
