PoliMedia is a socio-political media application that gives room for youth and every individual at large to involve more in political affairs whiles still enjoying the social media experience.

Inspiration

Political and governmental policies affects every one in a country especially the youth. But the we mostly get to know and understand about it mostly after the impact has occured

What it does

polimedia is bring these policies these policies to your door front, not just that but also breaking it down so to the very lame man's understanding and most importantly tailoring your policies feed to your preference while making room to explore other policies.

How we built it

We built it mainly levergaging ai, we get the user to filling a short details form then our ai model in this case claude opus 4.5, scraps the web and returned feeds that are tailored to your preference and other feeda that you would like to explore based on the imapct it may have

Challenges we ran into

Not having the claude api credits. We had to leverge on another api (alle-ai) to gave us access to claude opus 4.5

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are ultimately proud that we as a team of two, have been able to produce such solution with a very short amount of time with quite a limited amount of resources(specifically the claude credit)

What we learned

Building as a team is very powerful. With the power of ai at hand alot can be donw with in a very small period of time

What's next for PoliMedia

Going global scale, a problem for Ghana can be a problem for africa, and can be a global problem, having the youth actively involved in politics will help the nation in the long run.
