We were inspired by State Farm's Representatives' commitment to excellence and openness to making changes to improve their service to their customers.

What it does

Our mission is to revolutionize the small business insurance experience. We believe that insurance should be accessible, understandable, and tailored to your unique needs. We're here to simplify the complex world of insurance and make it work for you.## How we built it We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build the front end. We used Flask framework and programmed in Python to create the backend. We implemented the Mapbox API to get the precise location. We also created our algorithm to get a rough estimation of insurance quotes. We used ngrok to deploy the prototype.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge was deploying our app because we made a mobile interface so we could reach a bigger audience

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are most proud of building a good and intuitive UI that has the proper information represented

What we learned

We learned that we have to first work on the backend and then the frontend, so there is fewer re-edits

What's next for Policy Pioneer

This is just a prototype for now, with more time and resources, we will be able to implement more detailed APIs of State Farm to calculate precise plans/rates
