Inspiration

What it does

  • a 2d game where you are pulling yourself to various magnets so you can eat the yummy fish abound.

How we built it

  • html canvas, javascript, bun
  • searching for some assets on kenney.nl

Challenges we ran into

  • mobile audio was a bit buggy
  • originally games physics was tied to fps, so it felt not great on low fps devices (mobile), so had to tie the physics to real world time instead

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • making a fun game, and getting distracted from continuing to develop because playing it was fun xD

What we learned

  • Making a 2d game in html canvas is pretty fun seeing whats possible with minimal dependencies

What's next for Polarity Penguin

  • more game types, unlockables
