Inspiration

We wanted to help people starting out in their pokemon card collection jouney be able to quickly identify their pokemon cards

What it does

It takes an image of a pokemon card, processes any identification through AWS, and pulls information from a database displaying information on the card directly on the screen

How we built it

We used react-native for the front end, and AWS and aws rekognition for identifying the cards.

Challenges we ran into

We have never used react-native or AWS in the past, so we had to fully develop everything.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of being able to cobble together an application from languages we barely know!

What we learned

We learned a lot about react-native and AWS, specifically formatting in react-native, react-native navigation, image processing, as well as setting up AWS lambda functions
