Inspiration

For too long, we have suffered with inadequate website design regarding pokemon type matchups. With our website, we will streamline the competitive Pokemon scene. Presenting a simplified UI/UX, users can easily gain an edge over your opponent by looking up their type/Pokemon.

What it does

Depending on your opponent's Pokemon's type, we calculate the strongest and weakest match-ups.

How we built it

We used angular to compile a static web page for use with GitHub pages. Using web scrapers, we pulled the information of every Pokemon's name, type, and sprite.

Challenges we ran into

We had to learn angular as we worked on the project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The website runs and looks eloquent. We look forward to users using our complete and functional website and mobile app.

What we learned

We learned how to use Angular, CSS, and domain.com to build and host a web app.

What's next for PokemonTypeCalc (Monkey_123)

We plan on extending this web app to be more accessible to users in the future, featuring in mobile app stores.
