Inspiration
The inspiration for our project came from the love for Pokemon and the excitement of playing card games with friends. We wanted to bring this experience to the digital world, while also incorporating the benefits of web3 technology.
What it does
Our web3 project allows players to join and create battles in a Pokemon card game. Players can make attack and defend moves and use Avax coin of Avalanche platform as the in-game currency.
How we built it
We leveraged the power of the Avalanche platform and its Avax coin to build a decentralized and secure platform for the Pokemon card game. The user interface was built using the latest web development technologies and the backend was developed using smart contracts on the Avalanche network.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges was integrating the Avax coin into the game, as it required a deep understanding of the Avalanche platform and its technology. Additionally, designing the game mechanics to ensure a fair and balanced experience for all players was also a challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have built a fully functional and engaging Pokemon card game on the Avalanche platform, using Avax coin as the in-game currency. The seamless integration of blockchain technology has ensured a secure and transparent gaming experience for all players.
What we learned
Working on this project has provided us with a deeper understanding of web3 technology and the opportunities it presents for the future of gaming, the working of smart contracts and deployment. Additionally, we also learned the importance of designing game mechanics that are fair and balanced for all players.
What's next for Pokemon
Our goal is to continue to improve and evolve the Pokemon card game, incorporating new features and experiences for players. We also plan to expand the game to other web3 platforms, making it accessible to an even wider audience.
