Inspiration Pokemon has been around for over 20 years. They've used 3D software to make their games in recent years, but they haven't built a VR game despite the compatibility. Why? This is where I find out.
What it does You get to replay Pokemon Red/Yellow/Blue in 3D. Explore the world and be the out there.
How I built it I used Unity3D to create numerous scenes of locations in pallet town and linked them together. I used a base of models ranging from pokemon to humans and made an immersive VR interactive experience.
Challenges I ran into Enemy AI. It didn't work exactly as planned. Also being very ambitious.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of The combat system is really fun. The graphics look nice (could be better).
What I learned How to organize the different interactions possible.
What's next for Pokemon VR Finishing the whole game.
