Inspiration
Self-driven passion for video games and statistics.
What it does
Studies and predicts averages for future generations of pokemon
How I built it
I mainly used Google Colab and kaggle for the dataset.
Challenges I ran into
It was my first time coding in Google Colab and using Statistics and Computer Science skills at the same time, so I had to look up a lot of Python commands to illustrate what I wanted. These included implementing data sets, illustrating graphs and modifying them, and parsing .csv files.
Accomplishments that I am proud of
It was my first time coding in Google Colab so I'm proud that I got what I wanted to do finished. The data makes sense and seems accurate so all calculations were perfect. I'm also really happy that I was able to make a project of data that I was interested in while practicing my statistics skills.
What I learned
I learned how to use Google Colab to make data visualizations, parse through .csv files, and how to make conclusions based off data.
What's next for Pokemon Generations and Average Stats
I am probably going to continue making statistical analyses of things that I find interesting. I think it's really fun and if I get really good at it I could publish some data about important topics in the world such as health cases.
