Inspiration

While surfing on internet I found an API of pokemon. It was nice and had good documentation. So i decided to use this. I would have used it with Flutter but since currently I'm learning so I decided to use it with React.

What it does

This website uses pokeapi to fetch and display different pokemons and their types and abilities.

How we built it

I have used React and pokeapi to build this.

Challenges we ran into

This is the first time I'm using there challenges regarding components and fetching individual pokemon data.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I have successfully built my first React app and hosted it using Netlify.

What we learned

React, functional components, using different packages, using API with React and deploying a React app.

What's next for Pokedex

In future buttons can added to filter to pokemon by type or abilities
