Inspiration

Inspired by my friends who recently got addicted to collecting pokemon cards and discovered their treasure trove of pokemon cards when they were young. I noticed a friend keeping track of their highest value cards in an excel sheet with stale prices.

What it does

Pokedex brings a beautiful interface to card collectors while tracking realtime value of their cards. They can share their Binders with the public for bragging rights!

How we built it

Bolt.new + Supabase + Netlify

Challenges we ran into

tried one-shotting but had a lot of issues with getting the exact ux I wanted. I ended up focusing on the UX first, then api integrations, then adding more features such as authentication.
