Points for Peace

Our project is a website that aims to promote sustainability projects and actions. Users can make posts showcasing their environmental friendliness to earn points which they can redeem for rewards.

We wanted to create a project that would help the environment through social media as we've seen through projects like #TeamTrees

What it does

Points for Peace is a website that users can post environmental friendly actions and through likes gain points. These points can be used for rewards on the website as incentives to keep being sustainable.

Challenges we ran into

Points system, we can add points but can not redeem yet.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have a working prototype with points that transfer to all tabs and animation for our photos.

What we learned

Our team learned how to use Javascript.

What's next for Untitled

A fully functional points system, leaderboards, friends list, uploads, comments, and your points also go towards a community points goal.
