What it does: It generates a French poem about the user's topic of choice.
How I built it: I made use of AI API to access different languages and integrated a typewriter to display the generated poem as the AI is producing it.
Challenges I ran into: I struggled turning off the loop of the typewriter.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of: I am impressed with myself for not only making this project work but to make it do so in a language I don't even speak.
What I learned: I learned that it helps to be specific when writing prompts for AI so it does not overly generalize or ramble.
What's next for poem-generator: I plan to update the looping issue and make it still after the typewriter is done so the user can take in what's been said to them.
