Inspiration

We wanted to create something that allowed people to connect with one another, and the activities and communities they engaged with prior to the pandemic, promoting wellbeing by bringing a sense of normalcy to their lives, and providing a way for people to connect from a distance.

What it does

Users of PodSquad are able to build a stronger community by participating in physical, social and mental activities from the comfort of their own homes with their Pods, a group of like-minded individuals. PodSquad provides resources that nourish users wellbeing while building tight-knit connections with their community and beyond in real-time. We focused on events and initiatives from local businesses and creators, to help stimulate the local economy as well.

How I built it

It was built on Adobe XD, so it is currently the front end of the web design.

What's next for PodSquad

We are planning to collaborate with back-end developers to create a fully-functioning website, work with local companies to offer and expand their online resources and initiatives, and build partnerships with video conferencing software companies.
