Inspiration
Many aspiring podcasters struggle to get started—not just with content ideas, but also how to grow and monetize their shows. We wanted to build a simple tool that gives creators everything they need to launch faster, smarter, and with monetization in mind from day one.
What it does
The Podcast Topic + Monetization Planner helps users go from idea to execution. You enter your niche or interest, and the tool generates:
- A catchy podcast title
- 5 episode theme ideas
- A 30-day audience growth plan
- 3+ monetization strategies
- A trailer episode script
It’s a one-stop prompt-driven tool that gets creators ready to launch and earn quickly.
How we built it
We built the project as a single-prompt tool powered by GPT, designed to produce structured, actionable outputs from minimal input. The interface is lightweight, focused on UX, and mobile-friendly. The design emphasizes clarity and fast iteration, making it perfect for hackathon-style rapid prototyping.
Challenges we ran into
- Balancing creativity with practical monetization advice
- Ensuring the output is beginner-friendly yet tailored to the niche
- Structuring the prompt to deliver consistent, high-quality results across a wide range of inputs
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Created an easy-to-use, zero-learning-curve tool for podcasters
- Generated useful, monetizable results from a single input field
- Successfully aligned AI-generated content with creator needs and business goals
What we learned
- Simplicity wins—tools that do one thing well are incredibly powerful
- AI can accelerate not just content creation, but also business ideation
- Prompt design is key to making AI tools useful and reliable
