Podcast Buddy

Inspiration

Often when listening to podcasts while multitasking, you'll zone out, but then hear an interesting fact but not necessarily know who or what they are talking about exactly. This leads to a frustrating experience of potential rewinding to an uncertain time and / or just missing the information outright.

What it does

This project aims to provide an ongoing text summary of the recent few minutes of audio so that you can quickly know what is being talked about and / or get greater context and info on the content.

How we built it

The idea is to ingest an audio stream, feed it to a GPT model to summarize, and display that text to the user
