Podcast/article Bias Detector For Schools

Inspiration

Myfather inspired me on this project. He was reading an article but it gave bias and false information on important topics such as gut health and brain health.

What it does

My tool takes articles and figures out whether it is a bias article with false information or whether it is a clean and truthful article without bias.

How we built it

I used codex to build me a good frontend and I built a classifier because codex sometimes overcomplicates code. My classifier detects fact and opinion with the help of gpt 5.6 luna api to check on things it is unsure of. Then my backend contains 2 more api agents which figure out bias and do research on the article to cross check

Challenges we ran into

My bias kept giving me wrong results so I made a better schema with more specific instructions rather than giving it vague pictures.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of learning codex workflow and how to keep using plan mode because it is amazing with that.

What we learned

I have learned to always start a week early rather the middle of the hackathon because I rushed.
