Inspiration
We want to protect the environment, and found some rather interesting information about how people have misdone recycling that obstructs the recycling process. For example, some certain types of plastic are not recyclable, or broken glassware (glass cups) are not the same as recyclable glass, etc. So, we tried to keep the essential information compact and to the point, while adding more funky items to spice up the recycling hype.
What it does
It aims to be a "dictionary" for simple recycling dos/donts/facts/etc.
How I built it
Android Studio, java, and dedication.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of
What I learned
I learned how to create an application in Android, although a rather basic one.
What's next for Pocket Recycling Guide
Maybe new games with hidden message? Map infused with locations for the nearest recycling facilities? Scanning barcodes to recognize products and ways to recycle? Recycling never stops ... cycling.
