Inspiration

Personal experience using UKG in our workspaces and the inconveniences of the technology

What it does

Our implementation allows for the use of GenAI to create and edit work schedules in any work environment. This is accomplished by taking into account different variables such as current time off requests, skillsets/position in a company, and how busy a business is statistically on any given day.

How we built it

To build the Bot we started with planning out what the intention for the Bot was. We then began by giving the Bot different sets of information that it could use to input into a calendar. The bot was then embedded into our custom site along with an embedded calendar to show updates to any given employee's schedule.

Challenges we ran into

One of the challenges we ran into was trying to get a responsive chatbot working that was able to be embedded into our custom site.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to come up with a prototype for our project that was partially operational

What we learned

We learned that AI as a whole has many uses that users of the app/software may not take into account.

What's next for Pluto AS

We would like to further push the use of the ChatBot and GenAI to expand into different categories such as FAQs, taking initial interviews for new employees, and storing and searching through employee documentation to easily and quickly update information.
