Inspiration

We were inspired by the concept of MadLibs and wanted to create a similar game that would help people learn the basics of programming languages and help practice solving problems.

What it does

The program currently has 5 practice problems pages that allow the user to input answers in a csv style format. After the user submits, they receive their score and are able to try again or return to try a different problem, with Pill motivating them.

How we built it

We used ReplIt as it is an easier collaboration tool. For GUI we learned how to use Tkinter and most of our project was coded in python.

Challenges we ran into

We had a hard time developing the GUI of the program to be able to display the game nicely and make it more user friendly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of learning the basis of Tkinter and some members learning how to code in python.

What we learned

We learned about teamwork and how to distribute project tasks. We also learned how to create a fully functional project in 24 hours since this was our first time.

What's next for PLTK: PhilL in The Kode

We will try to create more blocks within the sample code and make it a drag and drop format. We are also thinking to add other languages and more problems.
