The most important details of a project rarely begin as polished documents. They begin as quick notes, links, screenshots, files, and small decisions made throughout the day. Those fragments usually end up scattered across chat apps, cloud drives, browser tabs, and traditional note-taking tools that require too much structure before writing can begin.
We built PLFY because we wanted capture to feel as immediate as sending a message, without giving up the organization, searchability, and ownership expected from a professional journal. The goal was a calm personal workspace that remains useful during a bad connection, works naturally on a phone, and does not force a user to create an account before writing their first note.
