Inspiration
We were inspired by the cyclical nature of nightmares — the feeling of being trapped in a moment that endlessly repeats. The simple phrase “Please, help me” became the emotional anchor, representing both desperation and the illusion of hope.
What it does
“Please, Help Me.” is a short AI-generated horror film where a woman wakes up in the same room, repeating the same plea. Each time she speaks, the world resets — blurring the line between reality and simulation.
How we built it
We combined AI video generation tools with original sound design to create a realistic, cinematic loop of fear. The lighting, camera motion, and audio were carefully tuned to intensify the psychological unease.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was maintaining continuity between AI-generated cuts while preserving emotional tension. Balancing realism with surreal horror required countless iterations.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We achieved a seamless emotional rhythm — the repetition feels intentional, not artificial. The voice, visuals, and silence all serve the story equally.
What we learned
We learned that horror is not about jump scares — it’s about timing, atmosphere, and empathy for the trapped soul.
What's next for “Please, Help Me.”
Next, we plan to expand the concept into an interactive AI horror experience — where the viewer becomes part of the loop, and their choices decide whether the world resets again.
