Inspiration
My inspiration was 8-bit pictures on Pinterest. I wanted to make a portfolio website that is aesthetic looking, and that shows my personality in a more effective way which will allow people to get to know me better. I believe websites are a really great way of expressing people truly, rather than a resume.
What it does
It has a one-page scroll function that lets you smooth scroll different sections of the page.
How we built it
I built it using HTML and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge for me as someone who is very fresh to web development was I spent hours just to make social media logos stay fixed on contact me page. In the end, it was all my lack of knowledge of CSS position styles.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am very proud of successfully making an aesthetically pleasing website. I will improve my website to become much and much better as I gain knowledge in web development.
What we learned
I learned about usage of div, ul, li, a and section, and how to do their styles in CSS style sheet.
What's next for My Personal Website
Next I will be centering my social media logos under the "Contact me" header, and I will be adding a picture of myself on either contact me or home section.
