Inspiration
Spotify -a digital music service that gives you access to millions of songs😍. Ever wondered of managing your playlists in an organized but easy way?🤔 Well, here's us!🤓
Many a times, we've some songs in our mind but at the time of playing the same when it's already deleted but slashes your mind to remind it again😔. So, to not make it happen ever, you'll say this chat-bot to add your songs to your preferred playlist for later use🎉
What it does
PlayJam, a Whatsapp chat-bot which asks your preferred song and directly adds it to your preferred playlist. As simple as it sounds!
How we built it
Created using Spotify Web API and Whatsapp sandbox enabled by Twilio. All this in integration with Flask- A python micro web framework & Ngrok to connect the Flask application running on our system to a public URL that Twilio can connect to.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the responses back using Ngrok was initially a challenge for me which I later solved it with the help of some useful online resources. Anyways, I tackled all of'em.

Glad and happiest on Planet Earth when I saw this working!

What's next for PlayJam
Some more features include :
- Switching to the playlist as per user's choice (As of now, it is managed only at a fixed playlist)
- Navigation options such as : Playing a song@Spotify directly from Whatsapp, Uploading podcasts, Deleting a song from the playlist etc.
- Customizable user preferences!
