Inspiration
The idea was inspired by the book Everything Is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo.
It made me think — if the book works for humans, why can’t it help raccoons?
What it does
This film combines everything I love: an adorable and brilliant raccoon, the beautiful Toronto skyline, a stunning sunset, and the incredible Toronto Island.
How we built it
It was my first AI film — great effort, lots of fun.
Tools used: Midjourney, Veo 3, CapCut, Epidemic Sound.
Challenges we ran into
I struggled with simple physics.
The original idea included both a ferry and a plane landing at Billy Bishop Airport on the island.
They refused the laws of physics and rejected my idea to go to the island.
I also struggled with swimming fish — they really liked to vanish.
Accomplishments that I am proud of
It’s my first AI film, and it seems like people liked it.
What I learned
I’ve learned that everything is figureoutable — including AI films :)
What's next for Plato: The Raccoon
Hopefully, success at the Chroma Awards :)
