Strategic games are often criticized as too abstract to provide real insight. Even games that model real scenarios are difficult because humans are rarely rational actors. It is difficult for game theory researchers to collect data on real human behavior at scale, particularly in interdependent decision-making scenarios. We created an intuitive, web based, platform for creating, learning, and understanding strategic games. This platform makes game theory accessible to a much wider audience, and in turn provides large scale data gathered from real human actors. Users choose strategies and receive outcomes in real time. With our library of games taken from leading researchers in the field, we provide a way to understand how people respond in competitive or cooperative situations like disaster response and crowdfunding. Our application allows for easy data analysis of results for research to further the understanding of game theory’s application to real world problems.
