Platform Feedback — Nebius Token Factory / AI Cloud
This entry is a feedback-only submission for the Most Valuable Feedback prize. On October 10, 2026, I explored the Nebius Token Factory docs and public console as a prospective developer (without creating an account). My observations:
1. The console is a blank page for logged-out visitors. Visiting https://tokenfactory.nebius.com/ without an account renders a completely empty page — no product tour, playground preview, pricing overview, or screenshots. A prospective developer cannot evaluate the product before signing up. A public sandbox, or even screenshots of the studio/playground, would lower the barrier to trying it.
2. No way to try models without a full account. The quickstart's path to an API key requires creating a Token Factory account (Google or GitHub sign-in). There is no anonymous or test key in the documented flow. Hackathon credits are handled through a separate "fill out this form" step on the Devpost Resources page, outside the documented onboarding — an extra, unexplained approval layer with no stated timeline. Integrating credit redemption into the signup flow (or stating the expected turnaround) would help.
3. The product split is confusing. The Token Factory docs describe Token Factory as "part of Nebius AI Cloud," but the hackathon asks for feedback on Token Factory and AI Cloud as separate items, and documentation lives on multiple domains (dev.nebius.com vs docs.tokenfactory.nebius.com). As a newcomer, it is unclear which product I am actually giving feedback on. A single entry point clarifying how these relate would help new developers.
I have not yet run NVIDIA models through the platform, since my exploration stopped at account creation. There is no demo video, repo, or team for this entry — it exists solely to deliver the feedback above.
