Inspiration

The inspiration for PlatePerfect struck me during one particularly hectic week when I found myself struggling to plan meals that satisfied my family's diverse dietary preferences. As someone passionate about both cooking and technology, I realized there had to be a better solution than endlessly scrolling through recipes online. Thus, the idea for PlatePerfect was born – an app that leverages AI to simplify the meal planning process and provide personalized recommendations tailored to individual tastes and dietary needs.

What it does

PlatePerfect revolutionizes the dinner dilemma by offering users personalized meal suggestions, complete with recipes and grocery lists. Users input their dietary restrictions and favorite foods, and the app's AI algorithm generates customized meal ideas in seconds. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or simply craving comfort food, PlatePerfect ensures that every meal is a masterpiece.

How I built it

Building PlatePerfect was a labor of love that involved a combination of programming skills, culinary knowledge, and AI expertise. The frontend was crafted using React Native, providing a seamless and intuitive user experience across mobile devices.

Challenges I ran into
