How we built it

We focused on delivering a fast, clean, and scalable experience:

• Frontend: Built with Next.js (App Router) & TypeScript for performance and maintainability

• Styling: Tailwind CSS for a modern, minimalist UI

• Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL) for real-time data sync and authentication

• Mapping: Leaflet.js for lightweight, responsive geolocation features

• Design: Prototyped in Figma using Lexend & Outfit for clarity and accessibility

Challenges we ran into

• Real-time Synchronization: Ensuring that surplus quantities updated instantly across the dashboard and user map to prevent over-claiming.

• Map Optimization: Fine-tuning Leaflet.js performance to handle multiple pins and user location data without lagging on mobile devices.

• Development Sprint: Balancing complex features like real-time tracking with a polished UI within the tight hackathon deadline.
