Plastic Pollution Awareness Website and Game

Inspiration

Pollution is one of the world's largest problems and we decided to narrow it down to plastic pollution, especially in the oceans.

What it does

Our project is a website that helps spread awareness of the dangers of plastic pollution.

How we built it

We built our project using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We also used VS Code along with Github.

Challenges we ran into

Our whole team consists of beginners with no experience in hackathons. This was our first time coding a website so we had to attend workshops and watch a lot of YouTube tutorials to finish our project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we were able to code a professional-looking website with our own skills.

What we learned

We learned how to integrate HTML, CSS, and Javascript into one to create an attractive, interactive website.

What's next for Plastic Pollution Awareness Website and Game

We would like to work on a better UX/UI and add more details and information to our website including registration for a nonprofit organization that aims to clean beaches of plastic pollution.
