Inspiration
Welcome to Donate Plasma project. As we all know, we are facing a global pandemic named as COVID-19. Scientists are trying to discover vaccines to cure people affected with corona virus. In this critical situation different types of treatments are given by different doctors. Some doctors recommended plasma therapy for the patient who is in the critical situation. In this situation it is difficult for a patient to find a donor as everybody can’t donate plasma.
What it does
The person who wants to donate his/her plasma need to register and create his/her profile first in our application providing required information which are name, blood group, phone number and location. He/She can also share his/her winning story against corona virus to motivate others. Patients who need plasma don't need to create account. They can look for a donor from the home page. Patients can also read the corresponding donor's story..
How we built it
We built this website using combination of various technology 1.HTML5 2CSS3 3.JavaScript 4.Node.js
Challenges we ran into
The major challenge is we made this project in very less amount of time. And we also suffer in doing backend and database in our website. The time is very specific.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We learnt to build a Fully responsive website in just 24 hours. This helped us to find our potential and challenging spirit in ourselves.
What we learned
We learned how to do professional coding in specific amount of time. We also explore and face the real life challenges . We learned how to work in team when to become a team leader and when to become a good team member that always stands with team leader when team required us most.
What's next for Plasma Donation Website
We have future plans of connecting global people through this website and also connection of hospitals for the better overflow. So that donor and taker can find the hospitals also
