Inspiration
When you're planning an evening out with friends, it can be very difficult to agree on what to do. We wanted to ease that pain.
What it does
We created a mobile web app that is like tinder for events. Simply give a location, number of friends, date and time, and you'll get a unique url that you can share with your friends. Share the url and start clicking! If anyone dislikes 5 events from a single category, no one will see any events from that category to speed up the process. When everyone agrees on an event, you'll be redirected to a page that shows you what you'll be doing.
How we built it
We used angular.js for our front-end and firebase for our back-end. We got the events from the eventful API.
Challenges we ran into
Changing our idea at midnight, but we think it worked out for the better.

Learning angular and firebase on the fly.
What we learned
You don't have to stick with your initial idea, you can always pivot.
What's next for planz
Incorporate other APIs and improve the sharing system for sharing the link.
