Our project started with a simple question - how can we improve the quality of indoor air? As we researched the problem, we realized the potential of indoor plants to not only purify the air but also provide a natural and calming element to indoor spaces. We learned about the various factors that impact plant growth and their ability to improve air quality, such as temperature, humidity, and light.
We decided to create an intelligent indoor gardening system that would provide the optimal environment for plant growth while also regulating indoor air quality. Building the system was a challenge, but we were determined to create a product that would have a positive impact on people's health and well-being.
We did a ground-level survey with 80 people from all over the country and 85% of them replied with "Yes" for wanting to receive recommendations for plants according to their specific needs.
We are building the simulation for this project currently.
The major challenge is researching the dependabilities of the plants and their precise effect on the environment.
