Inspiration
Problems being solved:
- Networking between farmers
- Marketing to a larger public
- Networking between farmers and transporters
- It will create healthy competition between farmers and traders which will lead to better product for the consumers.
- Allowing farmers to keep track of their inventory so they can focus on expanding their business.
- Help them market their business while also networking with other traders. Basically it will be a “One stop solution” for all things agriculture!
What it does
Website will allow: 1. Buy and sale of agriculture and agricultural products. 2. Network with banks and businesses regarding financial investments, loans etc 3. Allow them to invest specifically in marketing of their own business through the website, this way their investments will be directed to marketing of their own products only which are on the website. 4. Connect them with world traders and importers and exporters, this way they will not have to search of people to transport their products, we will directly connect them with the transporters and then farmers will decide best based on the rates offered by the transporters. If we use these ideas, we will be able to hugely increase healthy competition between farmers and transporters.

This just an idea how our E-agri is gonna work helping the farmers
Challenges
As this was our first hackathon challenges were many but at the end of the day it was all about our project.
Accomplishments
That we're proud of Successfully completed our first hackathon! and found a solution for the farmers to sell their goods in a profitable manner.
Learned
A lot about how the farmers are struggling with the production ,marketing of their goods and how we can help them to over come these challenges.
What's next for Plant Village
Is to expand this and market it to more farmers so more and more farmers make use of the platform
