Plant Killer

The name is ironic, we developed an application which will help people to NOT kill their plants

Inspiration - The theme itself had us thinking about what we should make in regards to sustainability.

What it does - Reminds users to water their plants via SMS texts

How we built it - Java and JavaScript

Challenges we ran into - Connecting to MongoDB database in JavaScript and adding pictures into swing applications

Accomplishments that we're proud of - Successfully created asynchronous tasks

What we learned - To not give up

What's next for Plant Killer - We want to make the project look better
