Inspiration

Inspired from Fitness app on iPhone

What it does

Tracks number of trees planted, compete with others on leaderboard, and unlock achievements.

How we built it

Using React Native

Challenges we ran into

Time, as me and my teammate are fairly new to React Native

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to learn animations, designing and coding in react native

What we learned

Teamwork, time management, new language, how to make good UI

What's next for Plant It

Integrate a backend and make it a fully functional app, and hopefully release it to public on app store/play store

Also we've added few easter eggs, that was the most fun part for me to do in this project :) There's 5% chance of a penguin showing up in the homepage banner, and 5% for a panda and much more stuffs within the app
