Inspiration

Originally I had wanted to build an android application so those on the go could identify plants and get basic information about them

What it does

Runs basic object detection using a custom data model on static images

How I built it

Not very well to be honest, but I used Python, detecto, and several other modules

Challenges I ran into

The tool I had planned to use to convert to android is evidently currently broken and as such did not provide much help, also ran into several other problems based mostly around having a .pth model

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I actually managed to train a data model for the first time ever

What's next for Plant Info

Hopefully being able to actually get it fully developed for android to the point the user can take pictures and instantly run the detection with a more robust model
