Inspiration
Students have to make so manty decisions every day, so we wanted to remove tedious choices and mental overhead by predicting and automating daily tasks.
What it does
Takes the shopping list, and distributes it among stores along the student's route to save money. Manages clothes, laundry, and outfits. Manages food, recipes, and grocery lists. Manages assignments, lectures, to-do.
How we built it
Web app hosted on github.
Challenges we ran into
Lots of different API calls and integration disconnects.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Smart shopping saves money while reducing extra effort, and it adapts based on the students schedule and automatically groups similar tasks by location to save time.
What we learned
Gemini API, Google maps API, and frontend.
What's next for Planr
More robust outfit and meal preparation, more scalability and fluidity.
