Inspiration

When looking for to-do list applications, I couldn't help but notice how crowded and confusing they were. I wanted to be able to build an application that was an easy-to-use, minimalistic device that would make productivity skyrocket.

What it does

The user has the option to create a new list and add things to the list. When they add anything, they will be able to click it to cross it off and click it again to remove it.

How we built it

I used Javascript to add and remove elements, as well as cross it off. The HTML and CSS were used for styling.

Challenges we ran into

I was submitting two projects to this hackathon, so it was difficult to juggle both that and classes and exams. It didn't help that I was a beginner in HTML and CSS. However, I pulled through and managed to get it done.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm really proud of how it turned out, and I love the general feel of the website.

What we learned

I learned many important HTML and CSS principles while coding and found a much more efficient way to debug.

What's next for Plannerly

I'm working on making it a Google Chrome extension to make it much easier to use and improve the overall feel.
