Inspiration

I saw that booking venues for events is often confusing and time-consuming. I wanted to create a simple platform where users can find and book venues easily.

What it does

Planix is a venue discovery and booking platform. It helps users explore venues, view details, and choose the best option based on location and budget.

How I built it

I built this project using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js). I used Cloudinary to store and manage venue images. The focus was on creating a clean UI and smooth user experience.

Challenges I ran into

I faced challenges in managing data between frontend and backend, and handling image uploads using Cloudinary. Designing a simple booking flow was also tricky.

Accomplishments that I’m proud of

I successfully built and deployed a full-stack application. I integrated Cloudinary for media handling and created a responsive and user-friendly interface.

What I learned

I learned how to build and connect a full-stack application, manage APIs, handle media storage, and improve UI/UX design.

What’s next for Planix – Venue Discovery & Booking Platform

I plan to add user authentication, real-time availability, booking system, and payment integration to make the platform more complete and scalable.
